Mission Statement
Pets for Vets Ventura County benefits both veterans and shelter animals through personalized matches that offer companionship, love and support, saving two lives at once. It is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) national organization with over 30 chapters located across the country. PFV is dedicated to healing the emotional wounds of combat duty by using the power of the human-animal bond. PFV provides a second chance for shelter animals by rescuing, training and pairing them with America’s veterans who could benefit from having a companion animal
